The unique ability to use different sources of renewable energy to achieve maximum efficiency is its direct analogy with the form platonic of the dodecahedron.

D12 machine is multi-sourced the most powerful, which combines the flow of energy from the Sun, Air, Earth and Water and ensures the production of electricity, heating, cooling and DHW.

The shape of the D12 has a double meaning : it responds perfectly to the needs functional thanks to the balanced relationship between volume and surfaces exposed to and recalls the philosophical sense of the connection between the four elements.

D12 is able to heat and cool an area of approximately twelve hundred square feet of a building energy class A, to produce domestic hot water for daily use of up to 30 people and produce electricity for uses related to the system of air conditioning and lighting systems.


This technology helps to reduce the environmental impact by producing and storing of electric and thermal energy exclusively from renewable sources. The use of the dodecahedron, compared to a traditional energy system, allows you to avoid the annual emission of approximately 30 tonnes of CO2.

D12 combines several technologies for the use of natural sources and produce energy.

The walls of the D12 are carried out with solar panels thin film of last generation and measurement. The absorbing power of the photovoltaic system is strengthened by the presence of a reflective shield at the base of the solid. The light from the sun striking the reflective surface is reflected and diffused in the direction of the faces oriented toward the bottom of the dodecahedron.


The heart and heat of the machine is represented by a geothermal heat pump (or air) and by a system of reservoirs inertial. The electrical energy from photovoltaic panels provides electrical power to the heat pump and its auxiliary devices, while the electric battery is used to store the excess energy accumulated during the daylight hours of greatest production and provides, if necessary, to home users. The inputs and outputs of energy are managed and optimised by a central control system.
